WELCOME!
A Message from District Governor ROBERT W. BROWN
Welcome to the Lions Clubs of Iowa District 9SE website.
Lions are devoted to service to all humankind, and we particularly focus on projects which aid the sight- and hearing-impaired. Our motto is, “We Serve.” District 9SE includes clubs located in 18 counties in southeastern Iowa: Mahaska, Keokuk, Washington, Louisa, Des Moines, Henry, Jefferson, Wapello, Davis, Van Buren and Lee, which comprised the old District 9X4, plus the addition of the following counties after redistricting; Appanoose, Iowa, Johnson, Lucas, Marion, Monroe, and Wayne.
If you are a Lions Club member in District 9SE, welcome to one of your greatest information sources. Visit the website often, to learn what Lion resources are available to you. Thank you for adding your club’s information regularly.
If you are a Lions Club member from another district, thanks for looking here to see what your fellow Lions are doing. We invite you to visit any of our clubs and to correspond with our leadership.
And if you are not a member of a Lions Club and are interested in learning more about Lions Clubs, you also may want to check the Lions of Iowa website, CLICK HERE, or the website of Lions Clubs International, CLICK HERE. If you would like to visit a Lions Club meeting to see service in action please contact a zone chair in your area or the club nearest you.
