District Governor Mark Songer
DG Mark Songer has been a member of the Ottumwa Noon Lions Club since 1996. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow and a Warren Coleman Honorary Award recipient. A Great Plains Lions Leadership Institute graduate, DG Mark has served as president of his club on two separate occasions and currently is the secretary. DG Mark was also on the originating Iowa Website Advisory Committee and served as the District Information Technology Chair. DG Mark is a member of the Ottumwa Pro Balloon Race Committee and has been for nearly ten years. Having been involved in the computer industry his entire career he is currently employed by Tenco Industries, Inc. in the capacity as Information Technology Tech. He and his Partner in Service, Lion Nita, have one daughter Megan, son-in-law Lewis, and two sons Cris and Kyle. They also have a new grandson, Skyler.
